The XSD Series Wheel Sand Washer is a high-efficiency sand washing equipment developed for matching use with sand making machines. It is independently manufactured by Shanghai Dongmeng Road & Bridge Machinery based on long-term customer practice and feedback, combined with international advanced technologies.
Thanks to its reasonable structural layout and effective sealing design, the machine requires minimal long-term maintenance, features durable service life, low water consumption and low working noise.
During operation, the motor drives the impeller to rotate slowly through V-belts, reducer and gear transmission. Sand and stone materials fall into the washing tank from the feeding chute. Driven by the impeller, materials tumble and rub against each other to remove surface impurities and break the water vapor layer wrapping sand particles for better dewatering. Meanwhile, water is added to form a strong water flow, which timely takes away impurities and light-weight foreign matters and discharges them from the overflow outlet to complete the cleaning process.
It is widely applied for washing, grading and impurity removal in metallurgy, building materials, hydropower and other industries, suitable for both fine and coarse material washing. It is especially ideal for processing construction sand and road-making aggregates.
